LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM, December 14, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SMi REPORTS: Smart Water Systems is back for its 7th year and will feature a line-up of some of the most prominent industry thought-leaders that will enable attendees to harness the next generation of smart systems in the global water industry.

Taking place on 25th and 26th of April in Central London, the show for 2018 will aim to provide key guidance surrounding:

• Regulation and the 2019 price review (PR19)
• Maximising smart water data through customer engagement
• Achieving measurable results in water use efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Mapping and categorising water loss using hourly measurements
• The evolution of water metering into a world of smart sensors
• Creating value through smart-meter roll-out schemes
• Applying behavioural insights to energy, environment and sustainability

Some of those confirmed to present include Ofwat, Thames Water, Vitens N.V, Severn Trent and more.

With still over 4 months to go, the conference has already attracted some positive feedback from the industry.

"The conference will allow for informative presentations from subject matter experts in all areas related to smart water systems, and thereby provide a tremendous opportunity for meaningful discussion," said Jeremy Heath, Innovation Manager, Sutton and East Surrey Water.

Ben Evans, Data Governance Manager from Dwr Cymru Welsh Water said, "I look forward to all the sessions but in particular ones where the challenges of embedding new technologies with existing cultures are being discussed."

"I honestly believe that this year the conference is particularly fascinating,” said Adrian Campos Gilbert, Automation and Control Engineer, Acciona Agua. “I am not going to miss out on anything, especially those regarding recent improvements on water leak detection and new ways to approach the so-called business cases for solutions."
